QuikTrip, the Tulsa-based convenience store chain, has purchased two prominent parcels at the southeast corner of Main Street and Interstate 35.

Founded in 1958, the company has grown to more than 1,000 locations across the United States. It operates 87 locations in Oklahoma including stores in Moore and north Oklahoma City.
The sales closed Feb. 4. QuikTrip paid F M & S Enterprises LLC $3.7 million for the 52,000-square-foot former hotel on 2.88 acres. The building operated as a Super 8 until it shuttered in late 2023.

Additionally, Quiktrip paid Jayshree LLC $2.65 million for the 16,700-square-foot former hotel on 1.26 acres. It operated as America’s Best Value Inn until it closed late last year.

QuikTrip’s current Oklahoma City Metro locations operated as “Travel Centers,” which are nearly double the size of the company’s regular convenience stores and include larger parking areas for both cars and trucks.

The Moore location sits on 5.25 acres, slightly larger than the 4.14 acres QuikTrip has assembled in Norman. Traditional-sized QuikTrip locations in Tulsa typically occupy 2 acre.

No building permits had been filed as of publication.
